Hi, got back 2 weeks ago, had no time or mood to write. So just a short status report of the last month. Spain is great, food was great, wines are especially great... Actually as on my all trips I got back more tired, trips are to relax and have a rest, but not ours :) My ex girlfriend aka my wife, for sure has some perpetuum mobile in her legs and curiosity for two :) We've visited Malaga, Granada and Alicante. Skipped Barcelona and Madrid as we thought visiting them for 1-2 days is not enough, next time.
I made many pictures, few good and even less great ones. Will post them as soon as I manage to sort them and edit. It is now a habit of mine to forget something to bring with me, like CF card, charger. Lately it was the charger for databank :( so I was again limited in amount of free space. Internet cafe's had all limited HW possibilities (tried 3+), copy centers offered me to burn 2 dvds for 30 euros, sure I pissed them.
Our favorite city from those 3 was Granada or Malaga? Hm, maybe both, Granada is more nicer, first of all the Albayacin or how is it written. Al Hambra is just a tourist magnet, nice but so crowded and expensive, just overrated and priced.
In the home of flamenco we had no luck to see it :( On the other hand we tasted as much food as it was possible. We spent 80% of our money on food and drinks :D God bless them for free tapas!
Then last two weeks were a mess, back in work, deadlines push, stress. Weekends at home the same hurry, visit parents, friends, siblings. I new baby borne meanwhile :)
Will post some pics the next tiem, I have processed the first 3 days already, most f them :)

Weekly nopic #15
Hi, almost a month a wrote last time, what to do. After I returned from Saudi Arabia, got developed my pics and published on my vivo page, find it here or through my profile. Quite bad scan but for viewing on monitor enough, later will do some post processing on better ones.
After the business trip had a week of holidays, went fishing with friends, first time the last ten years :) the first two days were great, we caught many fishes, had many beers, ..., shisha. The last two days were just sitting and desperately waiting for a bite, not a mosquito bite, cause there were a lot of them, but for the fishes. As always, the biggest fish got escaped :) Maybe I post a landscape of the lake we've been to.
I am planing to buy a film scanner as now I have many rolls of film not scanned or developed in any way and I want to share them as everybody is eager to see them :P
have fun and check the pictures from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, find the link above.

Stockholm - Day 1
Arrived to Stockholm Skavsta, a small airport southward, regular and convenient Flygbuss and Ryanair buses to centre, one and a half hour. The central station is huge, buses, trains, metro lines. We bought 16 tickets but used only 4, they were quite expensive (180SEK), we figured that our hotel is not so far from our interests and we don't mind walking.
At 18:00 we arrived to hotel Backfickan, a new, very clean one, own bathroom and toilets (that was a must) and for surprise we had a small kitchen corner but no pans :) After unpacking we headed to see at least few things around the hotel area. There have been two parks, small observatory, few churches, restaurants, pubs, empty streets.

Paris - day 4
The last day, after breakfast packed our luggage and went to see Notre Dame again, was not inside, just sitting around in the parks. Then moved to the Eiffel Tower, don't know why, just to see it again and we saw there a restaurant with quite acceptable prices and snails. We tried them, they were quite good. It was time to go home... :)
Certainly will come back one time to Paris, but in spring or autumn...

Suggestions for Stockholm summer 2009
Hi,
I thought that this year I again will not be able to visit any Scandinavian place, but fortunately we found nothing better. Friends canceled Croatia, recalled Transylvania and we have found quiet cheap flight to Stockholm, so we are coming!
We don't have a plan yet, but for sure will see the old town, go to Skansen and for sure will find interesting places while searching for geocaches. Also we are excited about the long days, I could experience it two years ago in Tallinn and it was great, it fills you with lot of positive energy and happyness.
If you are aware of any places or rather expos, events between 16.7. and 21.7., please leave me a comment :)

Paris - day 2
We started our day at metro station Cite, the weather was cloudy and foggy with light rain that thankfully stopped very soon. So, we wanted to start with Saint Chapelle, but missed the entrance and also missed Notre Dame as we turned right behind the police station towards Pont Neuf and then Louvre. I girl in front of us picked up a big golden ring, was very surprised, wha to say, we too :) Then she asked me if it is my, I told that it isn't but she was insisting on to take it. I told her that she found it so it's up on her hwat she will do with it. After few minutes later we have seen her doing the same with with two other tourists with more success. After they accepted the ring she walked away then come back and asked from them money on food or whatever and they payed in the belief of the expensive golden ring :)
After few hours in Louvre we continued through Tuileries park, Concorde, Champ's Elysees, Eiffel Tower. It was a long walk, but very nice and also successfull in geocache hunting (4 pieces)...

Paris - day 1
The last weekend we've been in Paris, so here are some pictures and experiences :)
We were flying 6:30 in the morning, so we had to woke up really soon. The flight was fast and calm. At Orly we have lost a lot of time finding out how to get to the hotel in Montmartre in the fastest way and first of all the cheapest, but nothing less then 19,20 Eur for two by public transport.
The Gare du Nord station made us think again how to find metro 4. At Barbes station I was a bit scared, it did not look really friendly. After a few minutes with a map in my hands a man asked if he could help with the destination, and he helped :) The hotel personnel was helpful, they were great. After this we went to find Sacre Coeur as we knew it is very close.

Be careful with the black people trying to force you to buy some strings for too much money, don't give your hand :)
Next we looked for the square of painters, a small idyllic place, fortunately there were not too much tourists. The place is nice but the tourism and business kills the art feeling.

Next we went to see Moulin Rouge, to tell the truth, it's in the end of a redlight street and it's really nothing special. As it was still light and we wanted to see it in dark, we visited a cemetery at the corner.
